Everything was clean, the interior decorating was beautiful, and the location was outstanding. We had a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and living room on first floor room 105. All of the decorating and finishes were high end/luxury. The motel has been completely renovated and you can see every detail was carefully thought out. If you like high rises, crammed beaches/pools, and long walks to the parking lot, pool or beach, this place isn’t for you. Going from stress of driving to pure relaxation never took less time. From unloading car, to accessing room, unpacking luggage, and heading to the pool or beach literally took minutes. The staff we met were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Full width, tinted patio windows/doors facing ocean and pool are fitted with modern, convenient and practical retractable blinds. Lighting on patios and pool deck provide a warm, relaxing glow among palms and compliment the gulf sunset and sound of crashing waves. Each room and/or patio have a view of the ocean and pool. Don’t think they could have made better use of the stretch of beach they own. The owners spared no expense turning it into a world-class beach destination. Clean, classy, functional, modern, efficient, convenient, simplistic and accommodating best describe AMBR. Our first reaction upon walking into our room “WOW”! Expectations were exceeded beyond what websites and reviews described.
Our family of 5 arrived at Anna Maria Beach Resort (AMBR) after a busy week in Orlando/Kissimmee area and were looking forward to a relaxing 3 days on the beach.
